Hollywood Tournament Raises Money for Cerebral Palsy

Hollywood Park Casino hosted an event last weekend for the One Step Closer Foundation. This is a foundation for those who suffer from cerebral palsy.

Former talk show host Montel Williams and X games BMXer Dennis McCoy showed up with Dancing with the Stars phenom Shannon Elizabeth to raise money for those with cerebral palsy.

The tournament is called All In for CP and is the idea of Jacob Zalewski, a man who suffers from cerebral palsy and who works closely with the charity.

"It was an amazing event," said Zalewski. "I still can't believe that this day came after a year in the making. I am very humbled by the turnout-it was more than I thought it would be and I hope that each year it gets bigger and better."

There was a large group of people there to bid on items signed by Reggie Bush and Doyle Brunson. There was also a trip for two to Las Vegas to see Ray Romano perform.

What a great event for the cerebral palsy community!
