Cerebral Palsy Fundraiser a Success
The Clarksville Queen City Lions Club held a fund raiser for Alexis Brooks, who suffers from cerebral palsy.Alexis is in the first grade and attends Montgomery Central Elementary School. She has needed a new stroller and improvements to the family driveway so she can access the County School bus.
This event turned out to be a great success. One of the sponsors, the Foster Grandparent Program, agreed to purchase the stroller and the event raised enough funds to complete the remaining projects needed.
These sorts of fund raisers are very important for families with cerebral palsy children. The costs of care and equipment are sometimes astronomical and very difficult to come up with. Every little bit helps and sometimes the charitable actions of complete strangers can make a huge difference in children's lives.
It is important to note that cerebral palsy can be the result of medical malpractice. If you feel that your child's cerebral palsy may be the result of medical error, it is important that you contact an attorney right away. The Rasansky Law firm has extensive experience helping special needs families. Contact us by calling 1 800 ATTORNEY to find out if you may have a claim.
