Florida Girl Needs Your Help

When Lily was born she was unable to see, hear or feel anything. She cried constantly for the first two years of her life. Like many children born with cerebral palsy, Lily suffered from several developmental delays. After years of pain, Lily has begun to show improvement and is now able to hear, see and feel and she is also learning to crawl and speak.

Lily has been fortunate to have a family that provides love, dedication and perseverance. Lily's mother takes her to therapy and helps her throughout the day. Her father works several jobs to help pay the bills. But it isn't enough.

Cerebral Palsy is a condition that requires many resources to treat and manage. Finances are just one of those resources. While Lily's mother and father do what they can, it isn't enough. Cerebral Palsy medical equipment and costly therapies are very expensive, so Lily's family is asking for help. If you can help donate to Lily's family, call Neighbors 4 Neighbors at 305-597-4404.

Many people do not realize that a small number of cases of Cerebral Palsy can be caused by medical negligence. At some point, you might consider consulting a legal representative to investigate your child's potential claim. An attorney could discuss with you your legal rights as a parent of a special needs child. My firm, The Rasansky Law Firm, is sensitive to the needs and concerns of special needs families.
