Man Walks on Stilts for Cerebral Palsy
What a great story.A Michigan man is planning to walk 830 miles across highways and back roads...
...on a pair of three foot stilts.
Neil Sauter is planning a state-wide journey across his home state of Michigan to educate people and raise money for the United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan fund. Sauter, who was born with a mild case of cerebral palsy, hopes to raise more than $10,000.
This isn't the first time this amazing young man has raised money and awareness walking on stilts. Last October, Sauter managed to raise more than $2,400 for his cause by walking 26 miles in just over seven hours. The stilts themselves weigh nearly 5 pounds each and Sauter fastens them to his legs with duct tape, covering them with a giant pair of pants.
Here at the Rasansky Law Firm, we are inspired by people like Neil Sauter. Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects over 35,000 people in the state of Michigan alone. For years, the Rasansky Law Firm has dedicated itself to representing children with cerebral palsy as a result of medical malpractice and medical negligence.
