News Filled With Encouraging Stories About Cerebral Palsy Kids

I spend about an hour a day surfing the internet and reading stories about kids with cerebral palsy. Sometimes what I read is hear-wrenching, like stories about people who can't afford a wheelchair, or when people take advantage of the disabled.

Luckily, I get to read more positive than negative stories about cerebral palsy. These stories fill me with inspiration and hope for the entire human race. These children with cerebral palsy are often some of the most amazing individuals that you will read about.

Take, for example, the story of the Miracle League where disabled kids get together and play baseball. There are no losers in this game, only winners coming together to enjoy the sport they love. Amanda Shellhouse shows us in this story that despite incredible adversity you can still make your dreams a reality.

Then there's people like Mark Fowler who bought a hyperbaric chamber to help out the thousands of people who can't afford the therapy. Some days he has 15 people with appointments to use his chamber. Children with cerebral palsy have had amazing results thanks to Mark's hyperbaric chamber.

In a world filled with images of war and hopelessness, I find encouragement and meaning in stories like these. And I hope you will, too.
