U.C.P. Event on Saturday Night in Madison, WI
Over a thousand kids and families receive help from United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County, and more and more families are currently turning to the organization for support. On Saturday night, U.C.P. will be holding it's largest fund raiser of the year--the 22nd Annual Banquet and Auction. More than 200 people will be on hand to enjoy an evening filled with good food and good company. There will be a silent auction and 200 items will be auctioned off, everything from autographed sports equipment to jewelery.
All of these proceeds will go to help fund services that are offered by U.C.P. One of the big services, the Birth to 3 Program, provides intervention and therapy in the home for young children with a disability or delay.
This year, U.C.P. hopes to raise 74 thousand dollars at the event. They are raising the bar, because they say that there are more people turning to them for help.
The evening starts at 5:30 pm at the Blackhawk Country Club in Madison. Seats are still available for the event.
For more information you can log onto the U.C.P. website, or call them at 608-273-4434.
