Volunteers Help Boy With Cerebral Palsy

Over the past week, workers have built a new room in the basement for Michael Siefkas, who has cerebral palsy. This new space will be Michael's therapy room.

Up until now, Michael's mother had been keeping all of his therapy equipment in the living room.

"All of Michael's equipment is getting bigger and bigger with him, and the living room just keeps getting smaller and smaller," Michael's mother said.

The room was made possible by a joint effort between a volunteer group called Rebuilding Together Liberty and Lowe's Hardware.

Families of special needs children know that it can be difficult to manage all of the equipment required for adequate therapy. The space required can certainly put a strain on a household that is full already. Groups like Rebuilding Together Liberty provide a great service for families like Michael's.

Do you have a child living with cerebral palsy? If so, please contact us to speak with an experienced and trustworthy attorney who will enable you and your loved ones to receive the legal guidance and protection you need and deserve.
