Woman With Cerebral Palsy Enjoys Night With the Stars

18-year-old Karis Lane was invited to mingle with celebrities at a charity event held for Caudwell Children. Her mother said she had the time of her life, meeting celebrities like Whitney Houston and Jason Donovan. The ball was held at Battersea Evolution and raised over 1.4 million pounds for the charity.

Caudwell Children supports disabled children by providing equipment and support as well as fund-raising campaigns. They have already helped Karis with two powered wheelchairs.

Karis Lane was born with cerebral palsy and later diagnosed with Turner's syndrome. Her mother says that she is proof that life doesn't stop just because you are in a wheelchair.
