Stem Cell Therapy Helps Teen With Cerebral Palsy
At one of the leading centers for the treatment of neurological disorders, a 19-year-old Hungarian teenager with cerebral palsy experienced a significant improvement in his condition after he was treated with stem cell therapy.
Gabor Bocskai underwent neural stem cell treatment at Tiantan Puhua Neurosurgical Hospital in China where he received shots of cells into his spinal cord fluid, which in turn gets circulated into the brain.
After his eight-week treatment program, Bocskai experienced a profound change in his movements and thoughts, making him the first European teenager with cerebral palsy to see such a rapid improvement resulting from stem cell therapy.
Now, Bocskai has enhanced muscle tone, can sit and stand unsupported, is able to walk and swim without assistance, and has experienced improved vision, concentration, clearer speech, and increased leg and torso maneuverability.
While Bocskai raves about his stem cell therapy treatment, experts caution that not every cerebral palsy patient undergoing similar treatment would see such impressive results.
